Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the ultimate guide for mastering the best weapon builds in Once Human for both PvE and PvP. Whether you’re new to the game or a seasoned player looking to optimize your loadout, this guide will cover everything you need to dominate your enemies and thrive in the game’s challenging environments. Let’s dive in!
Introduction to the Power Surge Build
If this is your first time hearing about the Power Surge Build, you’re in for a treat. This build is optimized for One Human PvE and can also perform well in PvP scenarios.
MP7 Surge Build
For our primary weapon, we’re using the MP7 with a focus on PvE. Here’s a breakdown of the key stats and mods:
- Damage against normal enemies
- Elemental Damage
- Status Damage
Power Surge mods:
- Power Surge Status Duration: -50%
- Power Surge Damage: +20%
When you shoot the target, you get an instant +20% Power Surge Damage. If you prefer another mod, such as Shock Rampage, you may have less damage but higher procs.
The mod you need to use for the Best PvE MP7 Build in Once Human is the Static Shock-Talent. We have an image for it above.
Sniper and Crossbow – AWS 338 Bingo
For marking enemies, especially bosses, you can use a sniper or, preferably, a crossbow. The crossbow grants +30% crit when hitting bosses and applies the Bullseye effect, increasing damage to the boss by 30% for 10 seconds.
Remember, this effect works only once on the same target within 15 seconds. So, the best mod for the Crossbow here is the Vulnerability Amplifier-Violent.
Stun Baton for Movement Speed
Equip a baton with Movement Speed Calibration to run faster and dash around the map efficiently. This is especially useful for PvE farming in Once Human.
You don’t specifically need the Baton here, we are recommending this as one of the best weapons for PvE in Once Human for those who want to stay aggressive, jump, dash, and hit the target with a melee weapon.
The mod we are going with, for the baton is Melee Amplifier.
Goggles – Mayfly Goggles
Deviations Expert:
- Elemental Damage
- Status Damage
Elemental Damage generally scales worse than Status Damage for specific weapons like the Corrosion Shotgun. Always prioritize Status Damage if you’re using the Corrosion Power Surge Shotgun.
For the Mayflay Goggles, you need to go wit the Deviation Expert-Talents as your go-to mod.
Mask – Falcon Mask
A Falcon Mask or a Scout Mask can be used, although the Heavy Duty Mask provides an 8% elemental damage boost. Unfortunately, due to a crafting mishap, we’re currently going with the Falcon Mask in our Once Human Best Weapons for PvP and PvE guide.
For the Falcon Mask, go with the Thunderclap-Talents as your go-to mod.
Gloves – Shelterer Gloves
Ideal mods include:
- Elemental Damage: 18%
- Element Damage: 3.2%
This isn’t perfect, but the 10% substat compensates. Look for mods that offer damage to normal enemies, elemental damage, and status damage.
At the end, the only thing you need to care about is the elemental or the status damage. So, we are going with the Elemental Overload Talents for the Shelterer Gloves.
Shoes – Heavy Duty Shoes
Covered Advance:
- Status Damage
- Damage against normal enemies
For PvP, consider Rootless Reaper to refill bullets by 100% upon killing two enemies. The Covered Advance is better for PvE because it boosts damage against normal enemies significantly.
Use the Heavy Duty Shoes with the Covered Advance Mod to get the best possible results for PvP in Once Human.
Top Piece – Shelter Top
Use a basic blue mod – Flame Resonance-Violent with crit damage and damage to normal enemies as the secondary sub-stat.
This doesn’t matter that much, but it is rather good for Once Human PvP.
You should go with a mod that has a blue sub-stat and a green one. You can click on the mod and it will be upgraded from green to blue.
If you have two blue from a chest, you won’t be able to upgrade those.
Pants – Shelter Pants
Dead Shot with:
- Blaze Damage
- Damage against great ones
- Damage against normal enemies
Reload Rampage is an alternative mod for Once Human PvE. After you kill an enemy it will refill your bullets.
